Thank you for sharing this through your blog. You really hit the spot for me with your video. Often times as as student I find my art/design forced and looking very forced. Coming back to when I create, design and just having fun really makes the difference in the outer perception of my creation. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to reading more on your blog as time goes on (You are worthy of Bookmarking)!!!
@Tara Reed I’m thinking of making this a weekly thing. Now that I haven’t been laughed off the internet (ok, a slight fear of mine) I might venture out and do more quickies like this.
@Nicholas Exactly! The forced thing pops up often for me, too. I get busy, tense, just wanna get shit done and please people and what comes out is flat and blah.
Then I take a deep breath (or several over fifteen minutes on my meditation cushion), play with the kids, juggle, and go back to the drawing board (literally).
Usually that opens things up, but sometimes I have to eat cereal, too.
Love it! Short, sweet and definitely paint your point – yes, you have to market your art. But LOVE doing it first. Rock on Sparky!
