This week’s Illustration Friday topic is “Seed.”
As in, I seed Jacob jump off the swings and go splat.
I decided to start doing my IF’s on Post-It notes. As much as I like doing finished pieces for IF, it’s lost some of it’s freshness for me because I’m trying too hard to come up with an “it” piece. This way, I can dash off the first thing that comes to mind in a silly ol’ sketch.
Maybe I’ll use it later, but for now it’s just fun to scribble on my yellow Post-Its.

I know whart you mean. i have been posting SKETCHES from my sketchbook lately instead of finished art. Too often I lose something when transferring a sketch to board for paint application. It’s just never as spontaneous as the sketch.
