Man, the stories! Or perhaps this is a good pear turned (mutated) bad. A justice league of vegetables will have to do something. Or the mango who loved him will sacrifice herself to the same gamma rays to become giant and subdue him before the army gets there.

When will fruits learn not to meddle with gamma radiation?

It really is a good illustration, the colors particularly. There's a Terry Gilliam-ness to the shading on the pear's arms.

Thanks again for the comments, All! I’ve been clicking around since then and noticed that I’m in very good company. I’m surrounded by amazing artwork. Who knew?

This one is a goodie. Then again I like pears. And what’s better than a giant pear? Well, maybe a giant pear coffee cake. Or braised pear with a honey star-anise sauce. Yum. Yum. Yum.
